That Golden Hour Light, though.

This session had me in tears while editing. Happy tears full of mama emotions. Every thing from the golden hour light we were blessed with, to the love this little family has for each other.

So many of these photos stopped me dead in my tracks. It’s funny how our littles have a way of doing that to us.

The days are long but the years are short. Heard it a million times, but isn’t it the truth?

Children have a way of opening our eyes to a perspective we no longer look from. They have a way of stopping us dead in our tracks with a single expression. Their curiosity has a way of slowing us down to answer all the questions.

And in my heart, I know that these are the moments I’ll miss the most. The in between moments. The hugs that make me never want to let go. The big belly laughs that keep me smiling for days. And their tiny little bodies full of so much love.

My heart is happy knowing that this family will have these photos to pass down to their children when they’re all grown up, ready to have their own. These are the moments that matter. Be sure to document them.
