Amanda is one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She is so passionate about creating a resource for parents that is helpful, friendly and convenient. Her biggest priority is fulfilling the needs of the parents in the community. It is refreshing to see someone whose goal is making her customers experience as wonderful as possible. If you’re a new parent in the Boulder area and considering cloth diapering, or simply need advice, be sure to stop by Bundle Diaper Service and Baby Shop!

What year was your business established?
The store was initially a different diaper service. In July of 2008, Julie and I transformed it into what it is today: an organic and natural diaper delivery service and baby essentials shop.
What encouraged you to start your own business?
I initially got the idea from stores in Montana. After moving here I saw the need and opportunity for a delivery diaper service. I wanted to provide a resource for moms to get all of the healthy essentials their baby needs in a convenient way.
Was this a life long dream?
No. I stumbled upon Julie when she was running the old diaper service. Being moms ourselves, we wanted to provide something that was helpful to other parents.
What were your expectations before you started?
I am glad I didn’t have huge expectations. Not having huge expectations allowed me to not be disappointed and be excited when everything turned out better than expected.
What makes your service unique?
We provide all of the following services in one convenient place: organic cotton diapers, pocket diaper service, to-your-home delivery and a full retail shop in store.
Where does your inspiration come from?
My inspiration comes from the families and customers I work with and my love of parenting. I love getting to talk to customers and creating a relationship with them. I wanted to create a store that could become a part of the community.
In three words, how would you describe your brand?
Three words?! Oh my gosh. I think I have to give you more of a phrase: “Friendly, stylish, thoughtful baby stuff.”
Who are your target clients?
Any parent. Being a mom myself, I know how crazy life gets and I wanted to provide something to give them one less thing to worry about.
What are your future business plans or goals?
I want to be the most helpful and supportive resource for those who have a natural parenting lifestyle. Eventually I would love to start a publication, open a new shop, and offer different baby classes. I just want to be a resource center for these parents and the community.
What is most rewarding about owning your own business?
Feeling like a part of the community.
What advice would you give anyone who is wishing to start up a business of their own?
Make sure it is something you love.
