1. Your body was made to birth a baby – trust yourself, your body, and your baby.
2. You should feel safe, loved, heard, and respected by your care provider – pick a care provider you trust.
3. Prepare for your postpartum period – create a support network – that can include a meal train, support groups, and a post partum doula. You deserve it!
Best advice you’ve ever been given?: This is a learning process for both baby and you. Be gentle on yourself, ask for help, trust your gut.
