If you’re ready to create a course or coaching program, but not sure if you can teach the content because you learned it somewhere else, you’re not alone. It’s a controversial topic, but I promise you that so many of us have been there. I’m warning you that this episode is going to get a bit spicy.
I have been in situations in the past where I was told I was stealing someone’s entire program, and while I knew none of that was true, I was absolutely devastated. It honestly messed me up to the point where I didn’t want to coach for a long time.
Unfortunately, this is something that happens all the time, and it really is a shame because I truly think we are all teaching our own spin on things we’ve learned from all sorts of different people, or experiences, or real-life practices in our own businesses and our own lives.
Now, I’m not a lawyer, but I’m here to share my story. And if you ever have any doubt that what you’re about to create inside of a coaching program or course might not be able to be shared, I encourage you to go talk to a lawyer.
