I'm Jenni!

Your new BFF + Business Coach. I'm here to share all of the ups and downs BTS of my $1m/year photography coaching business and how I got here.

Photographer's son at age 3
Just a quick post to remind you all how much I love my job!
Not to brag but I get to photograph baby toes, tushies, and overall adorableness every single week.
How did I get so lucky?
I just spent the last week on a staycation with my little dude who is already THREE (when did that happen??).
The last 7 days reminded me how quickly they grow.
I swear it was just yesterday that we met our 5 lb peanut at the hospital.
I know I’m biased, but I really believe in the importance of photographing (at least) the major milestones of your child’s life …
… as well as the “in-between” daily moments of real life.
The newborn stage passes with the blink of an eye (ok, maybe it doesn’t feel that way when you’re sleep deprived and haven’t showered in days, but in the big picture it passes quickly).
Before you know it, they’re sitting up and starting to crawl.
Wait … now they’re walking (or more like, sprinting!).
Where is the pause button?
The only way I know how to pause the moment is to document it.
Freeze it in time to always look back on.
One of my favorite quotes I’ve heard about parenting is written by Gretchen Rubin and it says,

“The days are long, but the years are short.”

Isn’t that the truth?!
I’m trying hard to savor these moments. The good, the bad and the ugly.
Because before I know it, my 3 year old will be 33 and I’ll be wishing he would still hold my hand and sing with me.
Off to grab my camera (and a tissue) and see what today has in store for us.
xo,
Jenni
