This is a blog post that I have waited a very long time to write. Everyone says you don’t know love until you have a child. And boy are they right! The last 6 weeks has been a whirlwind for us. A 100% crazy, emotional, heartfelt time of absolute love and obsession for the new addition to our family. This 5 lb peanut already has me wrapped around his little finger. I am absolutely obsessed with his every smirk, every squeak (he actually chirps — we call him “Bird”), every movement, every breath. My heart could not be happier. With great pleasure, this proud mama would like to introduce our son, Miles Stephen Gately.
