If you could have anything, ANYTHING even if it seems out of reach, what would it be? Would it be a trip overseas? Maybe a designer handbag? The house in the neighborhood you’ve always wanted to live in? Now, what if I told you that those things you want are possible?
A long time ago, I had a coach tell me that if you want something, you need to get comfortable being around it. She said, “Dress for the role you want, not the role you have” and it’s something that’s stuck with me.
Manifesting my dream car AND my dream home
At one point, my dream car was a Range Rover. My coach suggested I go test-drive it. At first, I was worried because I didn’t think I would be taken seriously. However, she insisted, so I did. Over time, I test-drove multiple models and the more I did it, the more comfortable I got. Eventually, the dream of having a Range Rover became a reality.
I had the same approach when I wanted to live in a certain neighborhood. I would drive through that neighborhood multiple times a week, visualizing what our future would look like there. Eventually, we ended up moving into a house in that neighborhood. Yes, it was a fixer-upper and a process that took several years to renovate, but it’s now the dream home we live in.
You can manifest your desires too!
Since then, I have chosen to immerse myself in the environments I desire. Whether it is my dream home, a luxury car, or different travel destinations, being around what I want has helped me achieve these goals. And I share all this not to brag, but to help you understand the power of visualization and manifestation. As many of you know, I didn’t grow up with a lot of money, so everything I have now is a result of putting myself in the mindset and situations that aligned with my goals. And you can do this too!
Whether it’s travel, career goals, or even material things, immerse yourself in that desired future BEFORE you even get there. It won’t happen overnight, but if you continue to be persistent and believe it’s possible for you, it will bring you that much closer to achieving those dreams.
